The Lohman family -- Nich, Becky, and their children (from left) Della, Henry, Rio, and Jo -- moved to a historic house in Iola last summer.
Communities throughout Kansas need family physicians, so when Dr. Becky Lohman and her family moved to Iola last summer after she completed her residency, it was big news.
Lohman, born and raised in Chanute, is one of the many physicians trained at the KU School of Medicine, recognized as first in the nation in producing doctors who focus on family practices.
Lohman's training at KU will strengthen the range of services she and her partners provide children and adults at their growing practice.
